Dual XHD6425 4X50 Watt Bluetooth-Ready HD Radio and MP3 Player Order Now

We ordered four of these for our little "fleet" of Geo Trackers and Suzuki SideKicks. With all of them being soft tops, having a expensive radio in the dash is pointless. These suit us very well with the USB port on the front panel and the operation of the unit is fairly straightforward. The unit could use a better internal amplifier for each speaker. Dual claims it's a 17 watt per channel amp, but testing it on the bench we saw no more than 5 watts even at max volume. Only noted flaw is, the unit has no way of turning off the HD mode of the radio. If you're listening to the primary HD channel and your car's antenna isn't the greatest, you'll constantly hear the radio blending in and out of HD mode. Would be nice to just turn the HD off and listen in old analog radio mode. A preamp for the antenna may help and I might order one to see if it helps. This lack of a HD on/off switch might be why everyone is selling these at half off since the radio typically sells for $198.Get more detail about Dual XHD6425 4X50 Watt Bluetooth-Ready HD Radio and MP3 Player.
