Cheap Dual XHD6425 4X50 Watt Bluetooth-Ready HD Radio and MP3 Player

UPDATE 03/18/2010: I wish to revise my original review about the linking and weak FM Tuner comment. My car had it's antenna built into the windshield. I put this radio in another car that had a normal mast antenna and it works great! The HD FM sounds great, and most of the stations in my area have 3 channels in one.. In other words, 103.5 HD-1 HD-2 HD-3. Technology sure is great!

This is overall a good value for the $77 that i paid.

It has very good sound and the built in pre-set equalizer is a plus for an inexpensive radio. I am an FM Channel surfer and was really disappointed with the constant signal loss and the unit flashing "linking" on the display trying to reacquire the signal. Also several stations constantly switch between HD and analog mode, this is also annoying because the HD signal is so much better audio quality. One station that is about 50 miles as the crow flies away will rarely be found when seeking. Never had any problems with my factory radio finding stations!

A big plus is the USB input. I can record a live stream of Internet Radio and save it as an MP3 on a USB flash drive. Just plug the drive in and the unit finds the files and plays them, and the sound is great! I have not tried the CD player or the Ipod adaptor yet.

This unit is a good buy for the money if you are not looking forward to listening to HD or Analog FM Radio.Get more detail about Dual XHD6425 4X50 Watt Bluetooth-Ready HD Radio and MP3 Player.
