My review probably won't help a lot, but here is my take on this radio. The installation was a breeze, I actually opened the manual to check out the wiring diagram. Easy to read and all the colors matched the harness adapter I bought. Setting up the radio took a little effort on my part, I am one of those guys who says "Manual? I don't need no stinkin manual!!"
If all you want is basic setup and play stations right out the box, then this will also work perfect. It is that easy to start playing, all you really need is the knowledge of how to change channels on any electronic radio. Saving presets is pretty much the same in all radio's. Just tune in the station, press and hold the key down till the number preset shows on the left side of screen.
Put a CD in and it will read and start playing like any other deck. And it also can use a USB storage device to play mp3's, that is so cool. It also has a random button to play them randomly. I am so use to the mp3 player in the Zumo 500 GPS, it only plays then in alphabetical order. The random button this radio has makes my music listening so much more a pleasure.
Lets talk a bit on the HD Radio, I was surprise to see I didn't need to add anything to have HD radio, it even worked using my stock antenna. You can't say that about XM or Sirius radio!! All you do is tune in a station and in a second or two, the HD locks in and the sound will knock your socks off. HD even makes the AM stations sound great.
I had no use for the Bluetooth adapter so I didn't not purchase one, my GPS serves as my hands free device. I can even use the 3.5mm cable out on the GPS mount to the AUX IN and listen to the GPS through the radio!! That is a cool feature I never had before.
