The pros:
Reception on this unit is superb, both traditional and HD stations.
Sound is excellent.
Best value for price point.
Expandable for Bluetooth with Optional adapter. (We don't have it yet to comment on its functionality)
USB and aux inputs.
The con: (yes, only one, but it was almost a two star deduction)
The control layout is crammed and hard to use. Several important buttons are on the ring around the volume (HD seek in particular). Each station preset button has two stations, a left-right toggle. This wouldn't be a problem except that the face is already crammed. And, the 7-8 button isn't usable for presets??!??
All-in-all, this is a good unit. If you have large fingers or want a "factory unit"-like layout, it is not for you. This unit will do a LOT. And, most importantly, it has great HD reception in our area.
We definitely would attempt to find a new model in "the flesh" before purchasing. We have learned to be happy with this one.
