I read a lot of reviews from quite a few owners on these speakers,. the speakers were professionally installed. the power source was a clarion 400w/50wrms per channel amp and a alpine upperend head unit. the results were: not that impressed even with the sound down to 4-5 on the volume and the amp at a neutral setting ; they are ok not great not horrible either. I listened to a jazz station they sound better ,but, pop to rock ehh..They were ststed by many owners as being fantastic ect,ect,. Not so, they are ok. the freq resp is no where near what the manufactor and some owners stste. I was looking for a Driver to handle some bass and let me tell you my old P Gold 2 ways rated at 45 w did a better job, in my '92 honda prelude,. I'll have to try some other brand such as Alphasonic or another brand that delevers,. I've had Polk in the Home good product however cerwin vega blew them away.. I've got an energone 8" sub at home that blows most 10" subs away within $3-4 hundred and above range... "when I want my bass I want my bass ,but, do not want the hassell of a premium sub system in my little sports car! Anyone have any ideas?
