Buy Pioneer AVIC-U310BT 4.3-Inch In-Dash Navigation Receiver with CD Player and Bluetooth

There are enough reviews already listing the pros and cons of this unit, I won't rehash them here. What I will point out is my biggest peeves.

Pioneer recently released a new firmware with appears to have fixed a lot of the Bluetooth lockup problems. However, the firmware didn't address any of the many other issues. The most annoying for me is the delay in navigation prompts. When I am using the navigation, I would literally drive just past my turn before the voice prompt comes on to direct me to turn. This is entirely unacceptable as it makes the driver focus on watching the map rather than the road. If you are still considering this unit, think carefully if you will need POIs because if you need real POIs, then you will have to budget in another $99 for the POI SD card.
