I bought the Pyle speakers to put into a center channel speaker enclosure for my 5.1 Dolby sound system. I did not use them in an automobile system.
My amplifier is rated for 8 ohm loads, so I put the speakers in series inside the enclosure.
The mounting instructions were clear and the hookup wire and mounting hardware were adequate. I painted the enclosure black and used the grills on the outside so it looks good, even though its hidden in the back of the entertainment center.
They sound great and have cleared up the muddled sound from the previous enclosure I was using. I haven't turned up the volume yet, but I am sure they will work very well at higher sound levels.
