Having blown my factory speakers, and searching for replacements I stumbled across these speakers. After installation I was pleased with the sound quality and clarity, but it was not until I installed a dedicated amp that these speakers truly came into their own. Running off of the headunit at 10 watts apiece they were clear and fairly loud, but with 50 watts, it just kept getting better and better. I cannot speak to the bass response of these speakers as I have them crossedover at 120Hz and up, but before I tuned the crossover they were producing enough bass to rattle the doors. You will be pleased with these speakers. They handle adequate amounts of power cleanly, yet their sensitivity is high enough to use as a direct replacement for factory speakers without.
